Unlock Your Learning & Evaluation Potential:

A 90-Day Journey to Secure Funding

and Achieve Success

Are you a social impact leader drowning in a sea of good intentions?

You’ve poured your heart and soul into your mission for several years, but the true impact of your work feels frustratingly unclear. Funders are asking for data, your board wants results, and frankly, you just want to know if what you’re doing is making a real difference.

The traditional solution? Hiring a full-time Director of Evaluation & Learning.

But let’s face it, your budget is already stretched thin, and a full-time hire feels like a luxury you can’t afford.

There’s a better way.

Building Capacity for Long-Term Success:

This program goes beyond a one-time assessment.

I help you build internal capacity to sustain a culture of data-driven learning and evaluation.

This empowers your team to continuously improve programs, track progress, and demonstrate ongoing

value to funders.

The Benefits You Gain:

  • Increased Funding Potential: Strengthen your impact evidence to secure larger grants.
  • Measurable Impact: Track progress and demonstrate the tangible results of your programs to stakeholders.

  • Enhanced Internal Capacity: Empower your team to become data-driven learning and evaluation champions within your organization.

The Value of a 3-Month Engagement

I believe in building strong, collaborative partnerships.

The three-month assessment period serves several important purposes:

  1. Getting to Know Each Other: This period allows me to understand your organization’s unique needs, culture, and goals, and gives you a chance to experience my approach and expertise firsthand.
  2. Building Trust: It’s crucial for us to build a solid foundation of trust and communication. This initial phase helps establish a working relationship based on mutual respect and understanding.
  3. Evaluating Fit: The assessment period is an opportunity for both of us to determine if we are a good fit for a longer-term engagement. It ensures that our values align and that our collaboration will be productive and effective.
  4. Setting the Stage for Success: By the end of the 3 months, I’ll have a clear understanding of your strengths and areas for improvement. This knowledge sets the stage for a successful, longer-term partnership where I can help you achieve your goals more effectively.

    What To Expect:

    Week-By-Week Breakdown

Over the 90 days, we will assess your organization’s current data collection and evaluation practices, co-create a strategic nine-month roadmap to enhance and improve your practices, and decide how I will support you in the implementation.

    Weeks 1 & 2: Setting the Stage

    • We’ll kick things off by meeting with you to understand your goals and priorities.
    • We’ll then develop a custom plan to gather information, using interviews and surveys tailored to your needs.

    • Imagine conversations with key leaders and staff, along with a chance for everyone to share their insights.

    Weeks 3-6: Unveiling the Story

    • This is where the real exploration begins! We’ll conduct interviews and focus groups, fostering open discussions about your current practices. I will also request to schedule observations of relevant team meetings alongside interviews and focus groups.
    • In parallel, we’ll delve into your existing documents, like strategic plans and reports, to gain a deeper understanding of your goals and how you currently measure progress.

Weeks 7 & 8: Making Sense of It All

    • We’ll analyze all the information we’ve gathered, be it from interviews, surveys, or documents – a treasure trove of insights!
    • By piecing it all together, we’ll identify key trends and patterns, highlighting your strengths and areas where you can improve.

Weeks 9 & 10: Turning Insights into Action (with Extension Opportunity)

    • We’ll present a comprehensive report that translates findings into clear, actionable steps.
    • After presenting the report, schedule additional team meeting observations (optional) to gain deeper context.
    • We’ll then work with you to brainstorm strategies that leverage your strengths and address identified gaps.
    • Imagine a collaborative workshop where we develop a concrete roadmap for enhancing your learning and evaluation practices.
    • At the conclusion of this workshop, we’ll also discuss the possibility of extending our collaboration for an additional nine months. This extended engagement would allow us to support you in implementing the developed action plan, track progress, and ensure long-term success.

Weeks 11 & 12: Putting Your Plan in Motion

    • We’ll finalize a detailed action plan with clear timelines and ownership for each step.
    • This plan will be your guide towards a more effective way of learning, measuring success, and achieving your goals.

This 90-day engagement is an investment in your organization’s future. It’s your chance to:

Bridge the gap between learning and performance, resulting in a stronger funding narrative.

Empower your employees and showcase their growth potential to funders.

Become a data-driven leader within your industry.

    Testimonial

“Christian is just…awesome. There are only a handful of people I’ve ever worked with who can shift between the strong eye on details needed for execution and the ability to connect dots required for strategy and leadership, but Christian is that person. Christian entered a role that was in crisis and in the span of six months, managed to 1) solve the urgent challenges facing us as an organization needing to provide coaching to founders, 2) create real buy in for evaluation and learning from our team, and 3) build a 2 year strategy with strong investment from our internal team.

Prior to Christian, none of these areas were in good shape, but Christian’s leadership around strategy was just stellar. She used the urgent challenge of servicing our founders to identify key gaps in our current systems, worked collaboratively with our internal team and external consultants to build context, and then formulated a strategy that felt authentic, realistic, and aligned to our goals as an organization. More than the outcome, I was so impressed with her work ethic and approach to engaging with folks who weren’t entering conversations from a place of positivity.”
